Hello Everyone!

2011 Marching band is off to a great start. We have the largest ''true'' high school band in our school history next year. It is going to take a great deal of parent support to make this work. I want to encourage every parent to become an active member of our band booster club. This group of dedicated parents do so much for our band members.

Here are some of our upcoming dates...

August 8, 9,10 - Color Guard & Percussion Mini Camp - 9-4 each day

August 9th Band Pictures - 4pm UCMS Gym in full uniform - All members are required to be present as this is for the football program

August 11th - School Begins -

Oct. 7th - Sorghum Parade 10am downtown

Oct. 14, 21 & 28 - two of these dates will be picked for marching band contests - more on this as info becomes available

Dec. 3rd - Christmas Parade 10am Downtown

Dec. 8th - Christmas Concert 7pm place to TBA

Regular Weekly Practice begins on Monday August 8th after school. We practice on Monday & Thursday afternoons from 3:30-5:30pm and Tuesday evenings from 6-8pm. This will continue throughout a majority of the football season but will gradually diminish as the season progresses.
